Retail Media Specialist – Strategic FMCG Partnerships

We are looking for a relationship-focused Retail Media Specialist to drive annual revenue from FMCG/CPG brands. This full-cycle role involves negotiating Joint Business Plans (JBPs) during the planning period (Q4–Q1) and active selling throughout the rest of the year—including ongoing campaigns, seasonal activations, and prospecting for new partners. As part of the Corporate Partnerships team, you will act as a cross-vertical commercial bridge, serving as the primary point of contact for decision-makers and maximizing revenue.
🛠 What You’ll Get Your Hands On:
Annual Planning & JBPs (Q4–Q1 Peak)
- Structure, negotiate, and close annual Joint Business Plans (JBPs) and framework agreements with top-tier global and regional FMCG/CPG brands
- Position Snow's full retail media product suite as a core value driver within JBP conversations, articulating ROI through ROAS, incremental sales lift, audience targeting, and first-party data capabilities.
- Secure annual committed spend and preferred-partner status across our retail media, promotional, and co-marketing inventory.
Year-Round Revenue Generation
- Proactively sell retail media campaigns, sponsored placements, and co-funded activations to FMCG brands and their media agencies on an ongoing basis — not only during JBP cycles.
- Identify and close incremental revenue opportunities tied to seasonal peaks ( e.g Ramadan, Back to School, National Day, Summer, Black Friday/White Friday), new product launches, brand relaunches, and category events.
- Identify, prospect, and onboard non-investing brand partners to scale retail media network beyond existing accounts.
- Upsell and cross-sell existing partners into higher-value packages, new media formats, and multi-channel activations as retail media products evolve.
- Manage mid-year budget reviews with partners, using campaign performance data to unlock incremental spend and renew commitments.
Relationship Management & Commercial Development
- Cultivate and nurture high-level commercial partnerships with key FMCG brand principals, regional distributors, and media agencies throughout Qatar, the UAE, and KSA.
- Conduct regular Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) with key partners — presenting performance results, market insights, and next-quarter opportunities to keep commercial momentum between JBP windows.
- Develop and present compelling pitch decks, commercial proposals, and campaign packages tailored to each brand's marketing objectives, seasonal calendar, and trade budget structure.
Internal Collaboration & Intelligence
- Collaborate internally — while maintaining strategic neutrality — with Grocery, Snowmart, and Retail Media Ops teams to gather performance data, inventory availability, and campaign capabilities that strengthen commercial proposals.
- Track and manage the full commercial pipeline: from prospecting and proposal through negotiation, contract execution, campaign delivery, and post-campaign performance review.
- Monitor competitive retail media and trade marketing developments across the GCC e-commerce landscape to refine Snow's value proposition and pricing.
- Provide regular commercial intelligence, revenue forecasting, and pipeline reporting to the Director of Retail Media, CCO, and CEO.
Regional Presence
- Availability to travel regionally to Dubai and KSA for negotiations and relationship-building.
🧙♂️ The Magic You Bring
- Professional background: 3+ years in FMCG Key Account Management, E-Commerce Partnerships, or Retail Media Sales within the GCC, supported by a relevant Bachelor's degree.
- Commercial Expertise: Proven track record in revenue generation through JBPs and campaign sales, with a deep understanding of trade marketing budgets and retail media ROI metrics.
- Communication Skills: Bilingual proficiency in Arabic and English with executive-level presentation and storytelling abilities.

- Direct experience at a Q-commerce, e-grocery, or online marketplace platform.
- Experience managing or selling retail media products (sponsored products, display, co-funded campaigns, CPC/CPM models).
- Existing professional relationships with FMCG commercial or trade marketing decision-makers in Qatar and/or UAE.
- Experience managing a sales pipeline with a mix of annual contracts and shorter-cycle campaign deals simultaneously.
